Central New Mexico Community College has reached an agreement with the city of Albuquerque to occupy 35,000 square feet at the Albuquerque Rail Yards south of Downtown.
At a news conference Friday, CNM President Katharine Winograd and Mayor Tim Keller signed a memorandum of understanding to begin the process of CNM moving into the space. Winograd said the school aims to expand its film production program, which started 15 years ago, and continue to train the workforce for the film industry.
