A local nonprofit is preparing to put millions of dollars into renovation and construction toward Albuquerque's affordable rental development.
Ventana Fund launched a pilot project called Thresholds that will award one or more short-term construction loans for small rental housing projects with a minimum of five units and up to $3.5 million in total development costs. The program can be used for new construction or rehabilitation, according t o the fund's resolution on the project.
