The Albuquerque International Sunport will be going through some multimillion-dollar, federally funded changes.
Tuesday morning, Mayor Richard Berry and the city's Aviation Department Director Jim Hinde announced the Sunport was granted $3.2 million in funding from the Federal Aviation Agency to revamp two of its external features.
One $200,000 grant will fund the design costs for a taxiway exit, meant to increase its capacity and safety. The remaining $3 million will go toward fixing up areas…
